Funky Time vs Crazy Time: 64 segments against 54
Funky Time vs Crazy Time on the published counts: 64 segments against 54, 12 bonus segments against nine, per-spin odds, and which wheel prints its RTP.
Funky Time vs Crazy Time is a comparison of two Evolution money wheels with different arithmetic. Funky Time has 64 segments, 12 of them bonus, so a bonus lands on 18.75% of spins. Crazy Time has 54 segments, nine bonus, 16.7%. Crazy Time publishes a 94–96% RTP by bet; Funky Time’s RTP was on no page this desk could read.
This is an evergreen comparison; neither wheel’s layout has changed in the documents read here, and the pages already ranking for the question disagree on how many segments the older one has. The counts come from documents. Funky Time’s are Evolution’s game rules as reproduced on Casino Time’s how-to-play page, an Ontario operator, read by this desk on 14 September 2026. Crazy Time’s are Pennsylvania’s table-game regulations for the game, section 690.1, read the same day, which list the 54 sections in order. Evolution’s own game pages did not open to this desk on 14 September, so nothing here is attributed to them directly.
Which wheel has more segments, and what sits on them?
| Funky Time | Crazy Time | |
|---|---|---|
| Total segments | 64 | 54 |
| Number segments | 28, all marked 1 | 45: 21 × 1, 13 × 2, 7 × 5, 4 × 10 |
| Letter segments | 24: PLAY, FUNK and TIME, each word twice | None |
| Bonus segments | 12: 6 Bar, 2 Stayin’ Alive, 3 Disco, 1 VIP Disco | 9: 4 Coin Flip, 2 Cash Hunt, 2 Pachinko, 1 Crazy Time |
| Any bonus, per spin | 12 in 64, 18.75% | 9 in 54, 16.7% |
| Rarest segment, per spin | VIP Disco, 1 in 64, 1.56% | Crazy Time, 1 in 54, 1.85% |
The percentages are this desk’s division of the published counts; neither document prints a probability. Pennsylvania’s text describes the wheel its casinos may put on a floor, and its count matches the layout our Crazy Time review cited: 54 segments, nine bonus, one title round. The Casino Time page is an operator’s blog carrying Evolution’s own rules text, down to the studio’s phrase about its mega-successful Crazy Time concept; we attribute it as Evolution’s rules, reproduced.
Why the top-ranked comparison says 45
The most detailed page ranking for this query, LiveCasinos.com’s comparison, read at 200 on 14 September 2026, states that Crazy Time’s wheel has 45 segments against Funky Time’s 64. Forty-five is the count of number segments: 21, 13, 7 and 4. Add the nine bonus segments and the wheel is 54. The same page gives each Crazy Time bonus segment a 1.85% chance per spin, which is one in 54; the arithmetic knows the answer even where the prose does not.
Is Funky Time better than Crazy Time?
On the published counts, Funky Time gives you more bonus spins: 12 bonus segments in 64 against nine in 54, 18.75% against 16.7% per spin, by this desk’s division. Crazy Time gives you a house edge you can read, 94–96% by bet per Evolution. Better depends on whether you value the extra second screens or the printed price; on price, only one wheel has told you.
What is the RTP of Funky Time?
This desk could not read one at 200 on 14 September 2026. Evolution’s rules text, as reproduced on Casino Time’s how-to-play page, carries no RTP line in the text we read, and Evolution’s own Funky Time page did not open. Affiliate comparisons print figures; we do not take RTP from affiliates. Open the game’s in-client rules panel and read the figure there before the felt.
How many segments does the Funky Time wheel have?
Sixty-four, per Evolution’s game rules as reproduced on Casino Time’s page, read on 14 September 2026: 28 segments marked 1, 24 letter segments spelling PLAY, FUNK and TIME twice each, and 12 bonus segments, six Bar, two Stayin’ Alive, three Disco and one VIP Disco. Pages that say 24 ones appear to have counted the letters; the rules table gives the 1 spot 28.
What is the max win in Funky Time?
The highest multiplier on the rules page this desk read is the 10,000x top of the Stayin’ Alive ladder, a 20-level climb that starts at 5x. Disco and VIP Disco multiply their multipliers by any wheel multiplier on the segment, with no ceiling stated on that page. Casino Time caps each bonus at $741,150, which is the operator’s cap in Canadian dollars, not Evolution’s figure.
What the extra bonus segments buy, and what they cost
Twelve in 64 against nine in 54 is the difference a player feels: a bonus about one spin in five for Funky Time, one in six for Crazy Time. What the screen pays is settled for one wheel only. Our Game Night Live comparison recorded BetMGM’s page listing a ceiling of 8,000x or 20,000x depending on stake, read on 11 September, not in this run. Funky Time’s rules text lets Disco and VIP Disco run until Mr Funky falls off the dance floor, multiplied by whatever the DigiWheel put on the segment, and states no ceiling for them. Which wheel returns more of each bet is what an RTP answers, and for one of them we could not read it.
Is either the better wheel?
Funky Time is the busier wheel and Crazy Time is the legible one. On bonus frequency the counts answer: 64 with 12 beats 54 with nine. On price, only Crazy Time has told this desk, and a wheel whose price we could not read does not get the higher score.
Set the budget in cash before either wheel turns, and set it as the price of the show. Both spin roughly once a minute; the clock does not wait while you decide whether the last bonus was the one to stop on.
